How to Achieve Beauty?

Filed in archive Beauty on April 2, 2011

© e³°°°Everybody wants to be beautiful, but as the saying goes, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Does that mean that you can only be beautiful if you have somebody who truly loves you? No, certainly not. You can be your own beholder. The key to being beautiful is not in what you wear or what you put on. It does not lay in what you eat and what you avoid eating.

It is not determined by what sort of makeup you wear or what sort of accessories. It most certainly does not have to do with the places you go or the lifestyle you lead. If you are confident, and believe that you are beautiful, there is nothing that can change that. Be your own beholder, choose your own fashion and style.

Organic Beauty

Filed in archive Beauty on March 19, 2011

© net_efektA spa experience can be as close as your local farmers market, as fresh fruits and vegetables can be easily transformed into beauty treats. Ripe avocados make a fragrant, natural hydrating masque. Fresh sage, rosemary, mint and lavender also make a great beauty tonic. All you need to do is steep the herbs in five glasses of boiling water and let it cool for an hour. Then you pour four cups into your bath and you can also drink a cup as a healthy and invigorating tea.

The mint will cool you on hot days, while the Rosemary helps to repair damaged skin cells. Sage is very effective to flush out toxins from your system, and lavender is known to soothe and calm. Another fun idea is to use grapefruit juice mixed with sugar, olive oil, and agave syrup to make a whitening teeth kit.

Organic Cosmetics Gaining Popularity; Market Trends Suggest

Filed in archive Trends on March 4, 2011

Gone are the days when organic cosmetics were the privilege of the dedicated consumer who was well-versed with the list of ingredients and had the money to buy these products from specialist shops at exorbitant prices. Today organic cosmetics, natural makeup, moisturizers, shampoos and even the best lash serum for growth are no longer niche luxury items. These all-natural products, celebrated for their efficacy and gentleness are readily available on the internet and in local stores with affordable price tags, making them accessible to a wider audience.

Natural cosmetics are fast gaining popularity. According to a Soil Association, sales of organic cosmetics and natural health and beauty products rose by almost 67% in 2008 to £27 million and then to £36 million in 2009.
"More people are becoming aware of the benefits of natural cosmetics and organic products," explained Stacey Malkan, Spokeswoman for the Campaign for Safe Cosmetics. The risks caused by using conventional products are also a factor, she added.

There is high quality organic make-up available now, as pigments have improved, ingredients have developed and there is a wide choice available, thus making natural cosmetics popular.
