My beauty New Year's resolutions

Our promises to get better usually come this time of year, and beauty New Year's resolutions are no different, maybe just a bit too difficult to keep. Why you might ask? How can it be more difficult to get a wax job done every three weeks than stop obsessing about your DB's filthy socks on your wonderful yellow carpet?

Well, if you're anything like me, than you know that feeling of too little time to fit all your chores in one day. And since that sometimes-Neanderthal DB is never going to learn, you do have to pick up his socks or they will stink up your whole apartment, you also feel obligated to get your elderly aunt to her doctor's appointments, you seem to volunteer to baby-sit your sister's kids more often than not... The only thing you can do is to quit work, but than you will most certainly depend on the kindness of strangers to get your new jar of Philosophy Hope in a Jar.

Not surprisingly, these are the beauty things I hope I will be able to do for me over the year that has just started:

1. Sundays will be beauty-sacred. I will take time to go through my routines without any stress.
2. I will get a facial every month, or at least every two months. I get depressed when my face skin looks dull, blackheads and blemishes all over, and the dry patches on my face peeling down subtly.
3. I will not obsess about my hair so much. Ponytail looks fine on my, buns too, and it's perfectly natural to have a really bad hair day.
4. I will stay on my current weight, and try to tone up with some cardio exercise. Hate to sweat, but there is no other way to get some muscles, believe me.
5. The absolute minimum of my face care will be brows, because you really can't look decent with a brow all over your face instead of two perfect little frames for your eyes.
