The ultimate lashes - surgery needed

There's a joke saying: Why do women make themselves prettier using makeup and clothes? Because men have poorer brains than eyesight. :)
I for one am always on the lookout for new, better and more promising beauty products, and have developed a nudity complex if I don't wear makeup. As we all know, one of the most essential makeup products is a great mascara, which no one can do without.
But, how far are you willing to go for a set of killer lashes? Some of us will glue fake lashes on every time they go out, some of us give every new mascara a chance, and some are even willing to get - surgery.
You see, the newest plastic surgery craze isn't Botox, it's eyelash transplantation. CNN reports:
"This is a brand new procedure for the general public (and) it is going to explode," Bauman told Reuters during what was billed as the world's first live eyelash surgery workshop for about 40 surgeons from around the world.
Under the procedure, a small incision is made at the back of the scalp to remove 30 or 40 hair follicles which are carefully sewn one by one onto the patient's eyelids. Only light sedation and local anesthetics are used and the cost is around $3,000 an eye."
So in fact, if you have the guts to let someone with a scalpel near your eyes, and have the money necessary, you can have your head hair growing on your eyes. Of course, you will need to trim them, curl them and possibly condition them - who in the world would look good with split end hair-lashes?

My favourite mascara is from Max Factor, the one they used in the film Geisha. It has a rubber brush and makes my lashes thick and long and they look just great.

Franziska, I love MaxFactor mascara too! Did you read my review of it on Busy with Style?
